Free classical music on a Friday night at Tempo Rubato, in the heart of Brunswick. Internationally renowned pianist Timothy Young joins forces with the award-winning Penny Quartet to perform two chamber music gems: Clara Schumann’s piano trio and Brahms’ first piano quartet in G minor. Penny Quartet and Timothy Young met whilst the members of PQ were students at the Australian National Academy of Music and they come together now as colleagues in a full circle moment, celebrating these incredibly beautiful chamber works.
