The Sparrow Made Some Beer offers a multi-sensory experience that takes audiences of all ages on a visual, auditory, and poetic re-imagining of Lithuanian cultural traditions, while requiring no prior knowledge of Lithuanian language. Jazmina Cininas’ immersive forest of lagerphones in the forms of Baltic nature motifs will be brought to life by Melbourne-Lithuanian folk singers The Lost Clog as they weave a narrative song cycle of seasons, love and loss. Also featuring specially commissioned video work by Mark Bakaitis. This project is supported by the Australian Lithuanian Foundation and the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
